Intro
Crypto.com NFT, a leading platform in the industry, Crypto.com NFT has achieved remarkable success with over 7 million registered users and a vast collection of more than 800K unique NFTs available for trading, resulting in a staggering monthly transaction volume of over $100 million. Crypto.com NFT has established itself as a dominant player in the market.
I became a part of Crypto.com NFT when it initially launched about six months ago as a small MVP project within Crypto.com's diverse product lineup. As the user base grew to over 1 million, we gradually introduced significant features, ultimately establishing it as a key product within Crypto.com. Over this period, our team expanded from a core group of 10 members to a dynamic team of over 50, which includes designers, product managers, and engineers. Here, I'd like to highlight some of the key design contributions I've made. What I Did
In my role as the lead designer at Crypto.com NFT, here are a few notable achievements I've been involved in:
Redesigned User Interface: I spearheaded a comprehensive redesign of the Crypto.com NFT platform's user interface, focusing on improving usability, visual appeal, and intuitive navigation. The new design received overwhelmingly positive feedback from users and resulted in increased engagement and user satisfaction.
Successful Feature Launches: I led the successful launch of several key features that enhanced the overall user experience. This included the implementation of advanced filtering and sorting options, historical price data analysis and etc. These features were well-received by users and significantly contributed to the platform's growth and user retention.
Shaped product vision that brings values around users and business and formed roadmap with project managers and stakeholders
Managed and created design system that help the team produce more consistent user experiences, and build bridges between design and development
Established UX strategy and recommendations solidified by market landscape research, analytical insights and usability testing

Design Team Workflow
I have implemented a streamlined design workflow to ensure that all designers have a clear understanding of the process and stay informed about the status of their projects. This workflow greatly enhances collaboration with product managers and developers, enabling the entire team to monitor project progress effectively. Establishing an ideal workflow is essential as it establishes a standardized process for sharing and reviewing work, ultimately promoting transparency and effective communication within the team. This clarity reduces confusion, minimizes duplicated efforts, and fosters smoother communication among team members.
Monthly Retrospective with Product and Design Teams
This practice provides us with a structured feedback loop, enabling open communication to discuss what went well, areas for improvement, and any challenges we encountered. It's an opportunity for shared learning, where we can gain insights from each other's successes and failures, contributing to our collective growth. Additionally, these retrospectives help align our understanding of collaboration, expectations, and objectives, ensuring that our design decisions and product development efforts are in harmony. Most importantly, they cultivate a culture of continuous improvement, empowering us to identify and address areas that require enhancement, thereby enhancing our efficiency and effectiveness as a unified team.
Design System and Figma Hierarchy
Regarding the design side, implementing a design system and using Figma with a structured hierarchy brings several advantages. With a design system, we have a consistent set of design elements and guidelines, making sure our product design remains uniform and easy to understand. It saves time using predefined components and lets us focus on unique challenges. A well-structured Figma hierarchy ensures everyone can easily access design assets, promoting collaboration across teams. With real-time collaboration and version control, Figma's features help us work together smoothly, avoiding version conflicts.
